The second is the Ardbeg Cottage, and Callumkill Farmhouse is at the end of the road.

By Car & Ferry
From Mid European Mainland start your holidays on Islay with a relaxing sea trip from Rotterdam to Hull (“P&O ferries”) or from Amsterdam to Newcastle ("DFDS ferries”). The vessels will leave The Netherlands in the late afternoon and arrive at the east coast of England the next morning after you had a laid back night and nice breakfast on board of the ship. Drive to Kennacraig (5 miles from Tarbert) at the west coast of Scotland. Please note that you must arrive at the ferry terminal for journeys to or from Islay at least 30 minutes before departure times. Ferries arrive on Islay either at Port Ellen or at Port Askaig. Go to www.calmac.co.uk for more information including timetables and reservations. The crossing takes just over two hours.

By Plane
Flights – There are regular flights to Islay from Glasgow (usually 2 a day) and the flight takes approximately 30 minutes. Go to www.loganair.co.uk for details.

Bus
There is a good local bus service which can take you over most of the main roads on the island. There is a bus stop right at the entrance to our estate.

There are also good bus connections between Kennacraig ferry terminal and Glasgow. Time tables can be found on www.westcoastmotors.co.uk.
