Callumkill Farmhouse was built about 200 years ago on the site, and using the stones, of a church (Callumkill = Chapel of St Columba). We have sympathetically renovated the house to a very high standard retaining original features, like butler’s bells and flagstones, but adding modern comforts. It is built on top of a ridge with breathtaking views over fields and the pagodas of Lagavulin to the sea. It is set on our estate - so perfect for a quiet get away or a base for touring Islay.
